ABOUT CHEER FOR CHARITY
Cheer for Charity (C4C) is a regional cheerleading competition in Delaware and expanded to New Jersey in January 2016 and then to Maryland in 2017. Cheer for Charity began in 2006 to raise funds for the Nemours Partnership for Children’s Health benefiting the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington Delaware. Since its inception, the cheerleading competition has raised more than $310,000 for the hospital.
Cheer for Charity is excited to now be working with the Casey Cares Foundation to help benefit families. Casey Cares helps keep families' spirits high by arranging programming - whether it's a simple movie night and a fresh pair of pajamas or attending a major sporting event - Casey Cares makes life a lot better by adding a personal touch throughout the year and making lasting memories for families throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and portions of the Midwest.

CHEERLEADING WORLD BID EVENT
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR WORLD BID: C4C will award 3 PAID Bids, 6 AT LARGE Bids to the 2025 Cheerleading Worlds at the The Grand National Championship By The Sea. To qualify for a bid your program must bring 50% of its program/location or be 400 miles outside of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Fifty Percent (50%) can be broken down into one location or the program. Exhibition and Dance teams are not included in the 50% of what is needed. Competitive Cheer Abilities and Prep Teams can be included and used to meet the 50%. *Shall C4C registration of eligible All Star Teams allow for more paid bids C4C will award an additional paid bid and two additional at large bids shall it qualify.*

- National Championship Placement Medallions for athletes placing 2nd and below
- All Individual Participants receive Medallions
- Stunt Group Champions receive Gold Medals
- All Participants receive a Participant Gift

Cheer for Charity, powered by Cheer and Dance Extreme, is excited to host The Grand - National Championship By The Sea in the beautiful Virginia Beach Convention Center. Virginia Beach is perfect in March - beautiful weather and great hotel rates! Our Nationals, also known as, THE GRAND National Championship was the first National Championship hosted at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. We have teams from up and down the east coast attend to see who will be crowned our National Champion. We feel that hosting just ONE National Event makes it have more meaning.
